I've been in the barber industry for over 30 years, proudly serving the San Clemente community. I'm also a military veteran and a surviving spouse of an active-duty service member — and I take pride in providing clean, precise cuts for service members from every branch.
My specialties include straight razor fades, lineups, designs, gentleman's cuts, women's haircuts, and color services including highlights.
At A Cut Above Barber Shop, my goal is to create a fresh, modern, and welcoming space where every client can relax, feel taken care of, and leave renewed and confident.
Co-owned with DeAndre James
A Cut Above is co-owned by master barber DeAndre James. With 12+ years of experience and a reputation for precision and creativity, DeAndre helps lead the shop alongside Kristy, bringing his own specialty in clean fades, straight razor shaves, intricate designs, hair color, and shear cutting.
Together, the ownership team sets the standard the rest of the chairs follow: consistency, craft, and care — every cut, every visit.
